Returns and Refunds

We want you to be happy with your CIDRBOX. If something stands in the way, please contact us right away so that we can put things right. Refunds and returns must be processed within 30 days.

Product returns

By law, we cannot accept returns of alcoholic beverages unless the products are corked or flawed. We are also unable to accept returned cider that has been damaged due to adverse weather conditions during shipment, but we will replace bottles that are lost in this way with an equivalent cider.

Weather damage may include leakage, freezing, crown cap release, and/or corks pushing. We’re careful to check weather conditions before we ship, and may delay delivery if we feel there is risk of damage in transit due to extreme weather conditions. If something has gone wrong despite our best efforts, please let us know immediately, and please snap and share a photo of the damage with us.

In the unlikely event that you receive corked or flawed product, please contact us directly at support [at] cidrbox.com to arrange a return.

If the original shipment was damaged or flawed, you will receive a replacement from the featured cidery. We will let you know when the box is scheduled to ship so that you can be ready to receive and sign for it. All claims must be received within thirty days of the original ship date to ensure that we can ship an equivalent replacement product to you.

To cancel a subscription

To cancel your Monthly Subscription at any time, simply sign in to your account and follow the cancellation procedures there, or send us a message at support [at] cidrbox.com and we will do it for you. If your box has already shipped, your cancellation will take effect with the next scheduled box. 

Delivery requirements

Federal law requires that we capture the signature of an individual over the age of 21 for all alcoholic cider shipments. We cannot receive a signed note as a replacement – it’s simply against the law. We recommend that orders be shipped to a business address for prompt delivery. 

We cannot guarantee the condition of any cider if delivery is not made on the first delivery attempt. Please be aware that orders that are not delivered on the first attempt may be held in a facility that is not temperature controlled, increasing the likelihood of damage.

Orders returned to CIDRBOX Makers may be subject to a restocking fee up to the total value of the order.
